Reverie

Oh! It rains again, My love!
Rains like the black- flushed sky
 The ambrosial petrichor
This amorous weather
All want me to yearn for you
For the tender touch of your  lips
For the redolence of your body
For the mellifluous sounds of our love
Do you remember the summer?
Evanescent summer, when we
Ravelled the gossamer of our clothes
Of our souls
And melted into one another
That car in the backyard
Where you ensorcelled me with
The sweet taste of your lips
Was it lethe or the elixir you imbued?
As I dream of a time machine
to leap back to the day
and savour it all again

The scent of you rainwashed
As you lilted towards  me
With your lissome body
Dancing to the tune of your heart
The tickles  from your sultry
Susurration into my ears
The luscious cues of  your eyes
Tempting me to swim along
Your moves and your grooves
The teases and the gestures
The tussles and the hush
The ripples and the waftures
Oh! How I miss those nights
Putting the moon to shame
Relishing the cinnamon
And floating in somnolence
Daunting musk’s craving
Haunted by your memories
As I am engulfed, Garcia
In your sweet reverie
